Concerto, for violin, string orchestra, and basso continuo

Composed as a "sonata da chiesa," this work is in four movements. This music is inspired by sketches from my Piano Suite No. 6, "Czech."

Concertino, for viola and string quintet

Originally composed on three poems by Georgian-era English poet and soldier William Kerr, this work is a three-part concertino for viola solo and string quintet (or string ensemble). It was originally sketched as a set of art songs for tenor and piano.

American Novel, for string ensemble

Composed using several previous versions as a template, this work for string orchestra was composed for the celebration of Juneteenth.

Gwerddonau Llion, for harp septet

Composed for Catrin Finch and the harp department of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, this piece is separated into three episodes in which the subject of the work envisions Gwerddonau Llion.

In English, the title is approximately “The Green Isles of the Ocean.”
